Every Free Citizen owes right to homeland rights given and duties performed
Dear sisters and brothers, the above said verse is excerpted from one of the poems of the Prince of Poets (Amir al- Sho’araa’) Ahmed Shawqi in which he addressed the revolutionists in one of our Great Nation’s countries. I have chosen this verse in particular, for a significant reason which is the “Homeland”.

“Homeland” must be conceptually and literary engraved in our minds, never lived down, never ignored, and never placed out of conscious behind the feelings of anger and revolution, because any national revolution is not but a reaction to wrong practices against the nation, and therefore, the right of citizen, which means by the end, against us, as peoples wherever we are.

I don’t like to ramble in my speech in order not to take your attention away from our herein crux , as I’m not here in the position of announcing to whom I’m Pro, or Against because I no longer distinguish among the matters. However, I address the elite to lead peoples to the best for their countries. I have been predestined to be homeless, though my mother country is still existing on the world map and is immortalized in the pages of history, but it was occupied and grabbed from us under the name of democracy, revolution, change, and other new resonant meaningful words; most of them are right words for wrongdoing. Again, the elite of media, businessmen, intellectuals, and those figures with social weight should prove to the citizen everywhere that revolution does not mean chaos, demagoguery, blood shedding or looting of property. However, it does not imply hanging the gallows for those whose hoodoo may push him to waive his hand against one of the symbols of regime whom rebellions are triggering against. It also does not mean to destabilize our countries’ security or destroy our achievements for the sake of demands of small group which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger.

Should change to the better become a must, and if a revolution must rise, then it must be against our drawbacks, mistakes and bad practices of which we are routinely get used to before anything. What is the meaning of change and revolution, if they were not well thought out and planned so that we may reach our goal which is the “Change”.

The being is as should be. What is the benefit of transformation if it isn’t forward not for the backward for the favor of our society, economy, and attitude? Therefore, let changes be a true beginning for the better, as it is still not too late. We have to cast our feelings aside, make up our minds, think of how we can build and not destroy under the name of revolutions and how to unite, not to be scattered under the temptation of Satan, and to put our Nations’ interest above our  benefits. We should be having a perfect example from our kind prophet Muhammad (Allah's prayers and peace be upon him) in his patience, wisdom, smartness, and deep insight, as without them, Islam would not have been kept and maintained all over the ages. The Messenger, who for the sake of his message, religion and faith, condoned a lot and preferred the interests of religion and Muslims to his anger and sadness. Revenge was not his concern, so we must follow the example of the Messenger of Allah and make our main preoccupation focuses on building, communication and sound beginnings.

Brothers, I have been fascinated, my heart was touched, and my grieves were raised by the words of gracious Shaykh Muhammad Mutawalli al-Sha'rawi in one of his programs of interpretation of the Munificent Qur’an about the Right Revolutionist, thus, I call on everyone to listen, peruse of its meanings and implications to be revolutionists for the right who revolt against corruption, then calm down to build glories.

I pray to God to protect our Ummah and all our Arab nations, especially those who do not have any rightful or logic reasons as some specific groups rebel for only their personal agenda with intervention by external hidden hands that are pursuing for vandalism and lobbying, resulting in destabilization and loss of the resources of these countries. Though some of our States are small in terms of its surface area, they are source of proud for us due to their progress and achievements. I beseech God to protect the Homeland, the Nation and the Islamic Creed.
